ABOUT JOANNA

THE JOURNEY TO THE SOUL SONG

I was raised in the Hudson Valley of New York, but my education began when I left. At 19, I headed West, initiating a decades-long study of the human spirit. By 21, I was in Sedona, Arizona, studying under Tai Chi Masters of the Korean lineage. From the ashrams of the East to the studios of London, I spent my early twenties mastering the mechanics of energy, breath, and the body.

Then, the music took over. Following the transition of my father, I felt a call to express the inexpressible. I paused my formal spiritual studies to tour the world as a recording artist. I wrote albums, played stages, and lived the life of a performer.

But I noticed a gap. The music industry was built on performance, not presence. I saw audiences (and artists) who were desperate for connection but lost in the noise. I realized that "entertainment" wasn't enough. I wanted transformation.

The Synthesis. I didn't leave the music industry because I couldn't endure it; I left to elevate it. I returned to Nashville to fuse my two lives: The Mystic and The Musician.

Today, as the Founder of The Soul Song Method, I don't just write songs. I use my 25 years of stage and somatic experience to help leaders, visionaries, and seekers find their own frequency. I created the container I wish I had—a space where high-level artistry meets deep-level healing.

Welcome to the work.
