A safe container for younger kids to learn emotional regulation through music, movement, and mindfulness.

Finding Your Voice: Music, Mindfulness & Authentic Expression
(Ages 13-17)

A transformational experience for teens to process emotions, build confidence, and discover their authentic voice.

One-on-one personalized support

Individualized sessions combining music, mindfulness, and creative expression tailored to each child's unique needs

MEET YOUR FACILITATOR

The only Nashville facilitator combining 25+ years of musical experience with transformational wellness practices, creating safe spaces for kids and teens to heal through authentic voice expression!

Joanna Barbera is a Nashville-based recording artist and wellness facilitator who spent years as an international touring artist performing for 500+ audiences while teaching guitar, piano, and songwriting to local children and teens. Her songs have been featured on CBS's Criminal Minds and other major networks, and she performs with the Nashville Symphony (returning March 2026) leading transformational experiences combining breathwork, movement, and live music.

For eight years, Joanna has operated Music City Mindfulness, leading wellness retreats and sound healing experiences. Currently a facilitator at Southall Resort & Spa, she guides guests from around the world through her innovative Mantra Medicine programs.

Having healed her own childhood trauma through music and mindfulness, Joanna understands the wounds young people carry and the power of finding authentic voice. Her Soul Songs approach combines music, breathwork, and movement to help kids and teens develop emotional regulation tools and genuine confidence.

"Music saved my life," Joanna says. "When I couldn't speak my truth, I found it through song. Now I create sacred spaces where young people can discover that same healing power."
